The True Night Before Christmas

In 1999, author Timothy Penland was asked to share the true meaning of Christ's Birth to a small group of children. It was just a few days before Christmas. He sat at his desk and penned a poem that recounted the ancient story of how and why Jesus was born. The result was "The True Night Before Christmas. This book is a retelling of the Christmas Story with verse set to a simple rhyme and meter pattern.
